ABOUT SOILA

Hi. I'm a broadcast journalist currently working for Sky News.

While my portfolio shows off most of my work,
here is a little bit more about me...

In 2022 I became a John Schofield Trust fellow.

I won a National Union of Journalists' George Viner
Scholarship to study my MA in Investigative Journalism from City, University of London.

I have a BSc in Politics and International Relations
from the New College of the Humanities,
where I was an Exhibition scholar.

I also edited the student magazine Anchor and was elected as the Student Union President... at the same time.

My name is pronounced SOY-LA.
I have Caribbean and South American heritage,
as well as Ukrainian.
